On the 18th of March we started our journey to the green island of Europe, Ireland. We headed off to the international airport in Bratislava, where the airline Ryanair took us to our first destination, which was the capital city of Ireland called Dublin. We finally arrived in this beautiful city after three hours of flying across Europe.

After unpacking our suitcases in the hostel, we headed out to explore Dublin. When we arrived at the shopping street, we had some time off to take a look around. Later that evening we saw some celebrations from St. Patrick’s day.

We went on a Viking Splash tour through Dublin the next day. We were sitting in a car, which could also be transformed into a boat.

We spent the next few days in another city called Galway, where we stayed with host families and went to a language school. A guide showed us around the city on day one and told us a lot about Galway.

The next day we went to see some Irish fish at the local aquarium. We were allowed to feed and touch the fish, which was a lot of fun.

The treasure hunt was our adventure on the third day of our trip. We had to answer some questions about Galway and the first team to be finished, was the winner of a little price.

The fourth day was the most exciting day, because we visited the famous Cliffs of Moher. The view from up there was breathtaking and we got the chance to take some awesome pictures as well.

Friday night was the time of Irish dancing. We got to learn some basic steps and the professionals made up a choreography for us, which was a lot of fun.

On Saturday, the 25th we sadly had to leave Ireland and go back home again, but we will never forget this incredible journey.
